Play & care guide

A few simple habits keep Root & Seek play safe, engaging and easy to reset.

Set up

  1. Use small dry treats or part of your dog’s usual kibble.
  2. Place treats around selected garden pieces.
  3. Set the removable pieces in place and put the garden on a flat, non-slip surface.
  4. Invite your dog to search while you supervise.

Adjust the challenge

Start with a few pieces sitting loosely so the first win comes quickly. As your dog learns the game, set the pieces more fully and vary which hiding spots contain a reward.

Supervise every session

This is an enrichment toy, not a chew toy. Keep every removable piece in view, stop play if your dog begins tearing or swallowing material, and remove the toy if damaged.

Care

Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap, then allow the toy to air dry completely before the next session. Do not offer the toy while it is wet.
